My second 'Unholey cushion cover'. I just chose whatever yarn color I thought would be nice and there it is. My sister-in-law helped me to sew the covers together. It's almost similar to the first one but this time the square was stitched on with a sewing machine. She found it quite a task and a bit wobbly here and there because it stretched everywhere! So next time, I'll have to stitch it by hand. And we both didn't really like the middle colors. Want to see the back?
I really tried to take a good pic of the pretty fabric but the camera wasn't co-operating. I took LOTS of pics but this one is the best. I bought the fabric from May May Shop. She sells beautiful fabrics at affordable prices. I will be making a few more cushion covers in the future, maybe even later today as a wedding gift for our nephew. I'll post about it when I'm finished.
My eldest son is coming back tomorrow and I'm supposed to make some cookies and a cake today but it has been raining since dawn(monsoon season has come early this year). That means it's cold! And I don't wish to be in contact with too much water! And that means I have no wish to be doing any cooking/baking today, though I might IF I have to. I'm not exactly a 'perfect' housewife, see. My husband do all the cooking in our house(he used to be a chef at the resort). But whatever, they're all EXCUSES!!
Happy Monday everybody!
