♥FELT KEYCHAIN TUTORIAL♥

This is just a short tutorial to show you how easy it is to make your own felt keychain. The hard part is deciding what you wish to embellish it with and how to decorate it. Embroider, stack with more felt cutouts, buttons, it's really up to your creativity! If you bought one of my kits, this tutorial is based on one of them, the round-shaped keychain. So, here we go......

First, you sew on the flower onto the smaller round felt. Use only 2 strands of the thread in the kit. You can either use whip stitch/back stitch or blanket stitch for all the layers or whip stitch and blanket sticth like I did. futuregirl.com has great tutorials on these stitches.

Next, stitch the smaller round felt to the bigger felt.

 

Sew on the button.

Sew the ribbon to the back of the felt with whip stitches. I use normal white sewing thread and a smaller needle.(Sorry about the poor quality of the photo. I did this at night so lightning is bad.)

After stitching about 3/4 of both of the felts around, stuff with the polyester stuffing. Then, stitch it close. And attach the keyring to the ribbon.

You're done! Now wasn't that easy?!
