Fabric Flower Hair Clip

Rolled roses not attached to anything, yet except for the red one which Hazel made and I sewed on a snap clip.

My second attempt at making a pouch after this. I found it rather tedious maybe because I lined it with fabric.

I don't know if I'll make any again. Maybe if someone requested it, then I'll do it :)

New Flowers!

These are the flowers I made using this tutorial yesterday. I think they are sweet although the scrap fabrics that I have are not so colorful as Heather's ones. They are just flowers now, not yet attached to hair clips which I intend to do later. So, show me your flowers that you made using this tute, too, okay?

I call these the 'Trio hair clips'. I used the 3-colored yarns and sewed a piece of felt as the base. I still have more hair clips to make and next will be felt covered snap clips.

Flowers Frenzy!

I was making flowers these past two days. Just was in the mood for making them. The ones above are made using satin-like materials and using this method but I just cut circles instead of petals. I just love the light blue one!

And these are crochet roses and a simple flower I made up. Most of them are made into pins/clips. I will make more flowers, crocheted and fabric ones when I have the time and mood again. I am still crocheting another table topper. It's already halfway to finishing. I have so many projects I'd like to do but so little time!

 

My Newest Projects

Here's my tawashi that I made this afternoon. I don't know why I chose those colors, but it's for washing the dishes, so that's ok. It's easy and I'd probably make it again someday. I'd love it if you post a pic of your tawashi when you do make one.

Any ideas what these are?? I don't have a sewing machine, so I sewed them by hand. Took quite a long time.

They are fabric flowers. The one with the purple button was my first flower. The middle hole was too big so I covered it with felt. But the second one still had a hole(which there shouldn't have any!) Maybe with practise I'll do better. I will post DIY for fabrics flowers soon. Maybe tomorrow. 

I've just made 2 of these matryoshka dolls keychain. It's really time consuming. Especially the faces. I'll make some more when the mood comes back.

Another crochet bag. I didn't really follow any pattern, except for the bottom part. If you want the tutorial, just let me know and I'll find it for you.
