More Slouchy Beanies!

I've been quite busy making more slouchy beanies lately. Here's Hazel modelling one looking serious. It fits her just nicely. Noticed the change of scenery? Hubby complained that I always 'shoot' at the same location and he suggested here. 'Here' is sort of an esplanade. We like to come here and exercise(I really mean walking but it sounds better saying exercise)or just sit at the gazebo and look out to the sea in the late afternoon.
This is the same Sand & Sea slouchy beanie. I just added a flower.
A pink and white stripe beanie ordered by a neighbor as well as the head hugger below.
This is my first headhugger. The pattern is from Vallieskids which I adjusted a bit. I actually made another one(I did tell you about it in a previous post) using chunky yarns but it was weird and very stiff. This is a nicer version. I'm making another Mohair slouchy beanie to replace the first one. I hope to finish it by tomorrow.
We didn't really celebrate my birthday the other day. Just a small dinner by ourselves and hubby surprised me with a cake. So sweet of him! How old, you ask? I'm proud to be 38. I'm not one who's ashame of telling my age. In fact, I always tell people because they usually don't believe me. And I have loads of gray hair to prove it! I usually leave them 'au naturel'. I don't have the patience to dye them! What are your opinions about gray hair? To dye or not to dye? I'd love to hear your views.
Have a great week!

Absolutely wonderful beanies. I might try to hook one!. And your baby is such a cute model. The scenery of your pics reminds me of my homeland (Venezuela) I miss going to the beach all year through...
Grey Hairs? Well, it happens I just finished dyeing mine...I changed a bit of color and choose a real reddish tone....I thought of letting my grey hairs shine, I stayed almost 3 months without any dye at all. But mine are white and no shine at all...if they were silver-ish I would simply cut my hair short and let them grow... But white don't look so good on me...I've seen women with all those silver grey hairs at it looks wonderful...As long hair is shiny everything is ok. Take lots of care and keep hooking...I simply love it...

I love your slouch hats, especially that second one with the blues and the brown, the colour combination is perfect.

I have never dyed my hair and always thought I never would but now that I began having lots of grey hair I have been thinking about it but what I would never do is dye my hair in a colour that is not natural to me. My hair is brown but with natural highlights visible only with sunshine.

Hazel is such a cute model for your lovely hats! Happy belated birthday :-) I'm 46 and have more and more gray as time goes on. I do have it dyed to match my natural color, but I don't obsess over it and will let it go for a few months before I think to have it dyed again. I might as well just let it go to see what it looks like. We'll see how far my vanity will allow it, lol! Have a lovely week, Aisyah :)

Hello Aisyah! :)
Cantik semua beanies!
Pemandangan tepi laut pun cantik. Ada bukit lagi. Mesti best dapat duduk tepi laut petang-petang.
Head hugger tu pun cantik!
Happy belated birthday! Patut panggil Kak Aisyah ni. Walau pun tak pernah jumpa, tapi dari email dan blog pun, nampak muda.
Biar je, tak perlu dye gray hair. Ada kawan mama Yati letak inai di rambut. Ok juga.

Thirty-eight is nothing...try 53, I'm edging up to it and think nothing of it.

Those hats are beautful!

Is it my imagination, or has Hazel sprouted a little? She's such a beautiful girl but then again, you know I think that already!
