Hat, Hat & Hat

I''ve been making hats yesterday and one beret in the making right now(though I'm not sure if it'll turn out ok). Three hats, actually. The one above is the same pattern as Dania's hat but I striped it with my new yarn.
This is Hazel's hat. She loves blue so I crocheted it using two yarns held together, blue and as you can guess, one of my new yarn. It was quite loose so I threaded a green ribbon around to make it snug.
Another view.
This last one was requested by my husband, to be worn while fishing! That's his number one hobby. He usually goes in the late afternoon when it's still hot and the ear flaps will prevent his ears from getting burned.
I'm really in the mood for making hats and beanies at the moment. I don't know how long it'll last so I'm making as many as I can now! And I'm trying out a pattern for a coin purse which is almost done. I'll show you tomorrow.
A Very Merry Christmas to everybody who celebrates it!

Hola from Spain...
GRACIAS! (Thank you) for all your wonderful and creative posts. Only a year ago I decided to give it a try with hooking. Your blog has been inspiring. As an absolute beginner it is wonderful to find an motivating blog like yours, and as you also refer to other blogs it was been a great experience for me. I would love to share this wonderful feeling of these days festivities. And I would like to thank you during these wonderful days, for many reasons: for your inspiration, generousity and kindness. Anyway in all religions there comes a time of the year when we all stop and meditate about sharing, giving and thanking. CHRISTMAS at my home is quite special: My mother is Spanish, both Dad and I are from Venezuela. So you would find lots of different traditions (Maybe this really openend my mind to other cultures and religions) here tonight.
And I, an absolute beginner in crafting, feel very honoroured to be included in one of your international blogs....
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
May your 2011 be filled with all your wishes and needs.
Ana
