These are my Irish Rose Squares progress since the last time I posted. Quite slow, I know. I'm always distracted by things:
Hair clips, a 3-colored flower and a tiny butterfly.
And something I made just now. So cute! It's a mini pouch to be attached to a handphone or as a keychain.
And blogwalking when I'm supposed to make things:
Something I found on a blog that I just had to share with you all!
I wanted to share with you an idea, too. The above pic is what I see on the wall when I look up from my craft table. (See the sun on the top right hand corner? Hazel's work)I just had the idea yesterday about putting up crochet patterns and the samples on a piece of Manila card paper so I can easily find them when I need them. See anything interesting? I'm slowly adding patterns that I wrote somewhere...I just have to find them first.
And this is the wall next to it. I simply stapled lengths of ribbons from the moulding( I didn't have any frames to make a notice board!)and clipped postcards, mails, Hazel's work and others with wooden pegs. The Australian map and zebra postcards are from Hazel's penpals along with the drawing of a cat. She loves getting mails just like her mummy!

Your Irish Rose squares are fantastic!
The ribbons and pegs are a great idea. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks and glad you liked the idea!
Yup hanging them is a great idea!it can also be an interior deco too =)
I normally write my patterns in a note book which is meant only for my patterns...
Another note book is for ideas where I can scribble any ideas that I have so that I don't forget later =P
I do have a notebook or two,Fyd but Hazel is always drawing in them and in the end takes over! And anyway sometimes I'm too lazy to take them out :p I just write on anything I can get my hands on!
I love the flowers on the quilt in the first photo! I'm quite partial to a crochet flower and these are lovely... where did you find the pattern? Is it yours??? Can't wait to see it finished XX
Thanks,Alice! The pattern's not mine. You can find it here:http://web.archive.org/web/20070909090904/http://www.heartmadeblessings.org/patterns/irishrose.asp
