I just joined the granny craze that is going on around the crochet world! I started making these over the weekend and am loving it! Aren't the roses just so pretty?? I was thinking of making a cushion cover with these and still contemplating on whether to use just one color or two for the roses. What do you think? I found this pattern on Ravelry and if you wish to go straight to the pattern, click here.
Hazel requested me to make her a hair clip from one of the roses and wore it to school this morning. I forgot to take a pic of it. I'll post it later when she comes back this afternoon.
And these are two squares I tried to see if I liked them and I do especially the one on the right. It's from Sols(tr)ikke called the Flowers in the snow. Check out other crocheters' projects on Ravelry. Very inspiring! And the square on the left is Daisy square by My Rose Valley. Both ladies are talented and I enjoy reading their blogs. Are you interested yet in joining me on the granny square craze?
UPDATE: Hazel's Irish Rose hair clip and a pair of clips(not finished)to accompany it.
Since I'm posting about hair clips, might as well post pics of two pairs I made last week.
