I'm so excited to have found this tutorial by Going home to roost just now. They don't sell chalk paint here in Malaysia(I think)so this is a godsend! As soon as I can get a can of latex paint I'm going to make my own chalkboard. Hmmm..now which color should I buy? Pink,lilac,light blue....

love the traditional black chalkboard but a lilac one would be great too!
aishah, I just happened to find chalk paint on shelves in Artfriend, The Gardens. But they're way overpriced, so this tutorial is a great saviour! Would love to give it a try one day (once I got my latex paint too hehe..)
